craft fair

My mom and I went to a craft show at the Moland House (a historic landmark across the street from my neighborhood).  We’ve been to them before, usually at Christmas time, and this one had lots of beautiful things for sale with more of a Spring and/or Easter theme, along with other goodies.

I bet my MIL, who is a wonderful potter, could make something like this.  She has made us a lot of dishes and bowls that we all treasure.  Plus, they are just super cool, too.

Jason stopped by, too.  He had the day off and came over after finishing up sanding the stairs at home.  Most of the items there were a little more ‘girly’, but he dug checking out the historic landmark building.  It’s been beautifully restored.

This was my major score… isn’t it adorable?!  I have a little collection of antique (and antique-looking) critters that have been sewn or felted, and I thought this guy would be a perfect addition to their family.

It was a gorgeous day with perfect weather.  Nice to be out with my mom mid-week.

The end.
