I hate knick knacks and clutter and all of that sort of thing.  I am very happy and pleased that our house has very little of those sorts of dust-collectors.  What I do have is an awesome cabinet where I keep my china bits and porcelain figurines and glass globes, a few picture frames, and a few other things.  I like them in there, kept behind glass doors where they don’t get dusty.  I will take a two or three things out and display them together, and then change them out when I want to look at something else.  Apart from this little display, I have pictures on a walls (especially on our family photo wall) and five large house plants… and that is pretty much it for decoration.  And that, I think, is awesome.
