first snow of the season

The first snow of the season… it was beautiful, cold, and not a huge dumping, but it was more than what the forecast called for so it took some people by surprise (like Pendot, who didn’t get the roads salted or plowed in a timely fashion).  But it’s beautiful and makes everything so peaceful and zen.

Rich isn’t a huge fan of it.  He has to work outdoors in it so the novelty for him wears off rather quickly.

My pig Zacky has a smile for me despite the lousy weather.  He spent most of the day in his house, but did come out so I could take his picture.  I love that mug.

It will probably be all melted by tomorrow, and that’s okay, too.  I’m sure there will be more snow as we get closer to winter, but it’s nice when the first one of the year is a little baby snow to ease us into it.

Thanks, I agree. It just loses it’s prettiness when it’s so cold and you have to deal with it all the time. Thanks for commenting, too. Sometimes I wonder if there’s anybody out there. Not that I do this for anyone but myself, but it’s nice to hear feedback. Love you, Dee!!
