lunch date

Today was my first day of vacation.  I am off from work for eleven days.  This is the present I give myself every year… the gift of time.  It’s the best thing.  Time to relax, time to have fun.  This year, my vacation has started off with a bang.

004 Jason and I went to Loechel’s in Hatboro for breakfast/lunch today.  It was 1pm when we went but we ended up eating breakfast food:  he ate bisquits and gravy, fried potatoes, and scrambled eggs; me, I had an onion and pepper omelet with wheat toast.  We both shared a bowl of old fashioned oatmeal with bananas and raisins in it, although I ate more of it than he did.

We found this antique store that had a lot of junk, but some really nice things, too.  We bought Brittany a very cool present from here.  I can’t mention it but will take a pic of it and post after Christmas.

006 Bear and ass.  Not a bare ass.

007We had a great day.  The owner of the antique shop brings his dog to work with him, and I wanted to take a picture of her but I didn’t get to.  A beautiful German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix named Bella.  I spent most of my time there petting her.
